PRE-VENT aims to create sustainable results and value through evidence-based programs that are inexpensive, sustainable and scalable, and have substantial impact on reversing the trends in maternal and child illness and death. We can accomplished this through collaboration and partnership with universities, other global health NGOs, government entities and humanitarian volunteers.

We Work Together With:

Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) is a member organization of the World Health Organization. PRE-VENT is an active member of PMNCH through adoption of the priority actions which include:

Knowledge Management System, Core Package of Interventions, Essential Commodities, Strengthening Human Resources, Advocacy for Resources + Positioning of MNCH, and Tracking Progress and Commitment towards MDGS 4 and 5. www.who.int/pmnch/en/

Global Network for Prenatal and Reproductive Health

Global Network for Prenatal and Reproductive Health (GNPRH) conducts research in the area of reproductive health to identify the most cost effective interventions and the best evidence-based clinical practices which can be offered to the populations served. GNPRH is also engaged in capacity building and global knowledge exchange. Merlin

Merlin works within existing health systems to realize everyone’s right to accessible, appropriate and affordable healthcare. Merlin and PRE-VENT have a technical partnership arrangement to promote the training and retention of local women as healthcare workers in rural areas of Africa. www.merlin.org.uk
